Actualizing Equity 2019: Igniting Renter Power for Environmental Justice

How do we build power for solutions that address both affordable housing and environmental justice? Through the St Paul Tenant-Landlord Energy Project, Fresh Energy and Community Stabilization Project (CSP) are building a network of renters, landlords, and other critical stakeholders to advance policies; provide education on energy-related issues; and support implementation of collaboratively developed solutions. Join us for the first event of the Actualizing Equity 2019 series to learn how these organizations are mobilizing community and moving shared goals — and contribute your ideas and insights on how housing and environmental justice intersect in our movement(s).

*PLUS* Join us after the event for the Renter Day of Action on the Hill from 2 to 4 p.m., hosted by CSP. We’ll ride the Green Line from the Rondo library to the state legislature where we’ll lift up the voices of renters and policy champions in St Paul who are fighting for safe, fair and affordable housing. More information here.

PLEASE NOTE that this is a Brown Bag Lunch Series. We will provide snacks, but you’re welcome to bring yourself a full meal.
