New Resource Empowers Voters to Understand Candidate Stances on Housing Issues in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – July 28th, 2025 – As the 2025 City Council and mayoral elections draw closer, Neighbors for More Neighbors, Inquilinxs Unidxs Por Justicia, WedgeLive!, Housing Justice League, Housing in Action, and BikeMN today announced the release of a new resource: a comprehensive candidate questionnaire focused on housing issues in Minneapolis. This initiative aims to prepare Minneapolis voters with clear, direct insights into how our prospective leaders plan to address the critical challenges of housing security, accessibility, and affordability within the city.
Volunteers from each organization proudly organized this questionnaire, meticulously developing questions designed to clarify candidates’ positions on policies that directly impact whether all of our neighbors have access to safe and affordable housing.
